We’re thrilled to announce that the Prinsco, Inc. Project Viking has been awarded First Place in the 2025 Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (AGC Georgia) Build Georgia Awards! 🎉 This achievement is a testament to the dedication, quality, and expertise of our entire team at Gideon and our diligent sub and vendor team.

From site selection to close-out, we poured our passion into this project, ensuring top-quality work that stands the test of time. A huge thank you to our amazing clients, partners, and crew who made this possible!

🚧 PROJECT UPDATE! 👷‍♂️ Steel erection has been completed for this 75,000 square foot Design-Build Manufacturing Center in Valdosta for Prinsco, Inc. With the exterior of the building almost finished, our focus has shifted to the interior. We are currently installing rough-ins and framing, and drywall and finishes will be starting very soon! We are on schedule to complete this project in June. Be sure to like and follow us for more Gideon project updates!

🚧 PROJECT UPDATE! 👷‍♂️ The site cleared for this new 75,000 SF Design-Build Manufacturing Center in Valdosta for Prinsco, Inc., a nation-wide manufacturer of plastic pipe & other products that collect, convey, treat and store water underground. Foundations and underground utilities for the facility are underway this week in preparation for steel in December. More updates soon!

📢 NEW PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT! Gideon Constructors is incredibly excited to announce that we’ve been awarded a new Design-Build project for an industrial client in Lowndes County. This new 75,000 SF state-of-the-art facility will handle manufacturing for a nationwide provider and will be their first facility in the Southeast. Be on the lookout for project updates on this exciting facility with a groundbreaking in October 2023! 🙌 Make sure to follow us to stay up to date on all Gideon happenings!

Amanda Nobles

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Amanda is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial functions for the company. She manages the accounting, banking, insurance, and tax matters for the company. She brings over 15 years of experience in the construction industry to her current position. Amanda is involved in all aspects of the projects from preconstruction to project closeout. Amanda’s experience with Section 3, Davis Bacon, and MBE/WBE reporting is crucial to the success of our projects. She is a member of the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition.

Trent Parkerson

Chief Executive Officer

Trent has over 15 years of experience working within the construction industry. Trent graduated from Valdosta State University with an accounting degree in 2003, his MBA in 2006, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2010. Trent is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Great Southern and is involved with all aspects of the company including business development, project management, estimating, and accounting. Trent is a licensed contractor in Georgia and a member of the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition.

Mike McGlamry

Chief Operations Officer

Mike has over 30 years of experience working within the construction industry and has completed numerous Department of Community Affairs Affordable Housing/USDA/Conventional Projects. Mike has also participated in the development of land and resort projects. From these projects he gained invaluable knowledge of the processes and procedures that are required for the successful development of a project. Mike is a licensed contractor in numerous states, is a member of the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition and a long-standing member for the South Georgia Home Builders Association.

Brett Diamon

President

Having been in the industry since 2003, Brett excels in managing resources and personnel for commercial construction projects. In his career, he has managed over $550 Million of projects in various delivery methods across multiple markets.

As President, Brett oversees and has his hands on every Gideon project. On a daily basis, Brett works closely with project staff, providing exceptional leadership and oversight to all onsite construction activities.

Brett’s personal belief of having an “attitude of gratitude,” treating clients, subs, partners and vendors with reverence, has earned him an impressive and respected reputation in the local market.

Brett graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.S. in Construction Management. He is LEED BD+C accredited and is a member of the AGC Georgia Board of Directors and is an active member of the Park Avenue Church.
